Zachary’s POV “What do you mean you can’t find her?!” I roared, my anger surging as I hurled a vase across the room. It shattered against the wall, a jagged shard slicing across his face. He flinched but didn’t dare wipe the blood trickling down his cheek. I didn’t care. “I gave you one task—one—and you’ve failed over and over again,” I seethed, my voice dripping with fury. The man trembled before me, his body shaking with fear. “A-Alpha, I’m sorry,” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’ve done everything I can. I swear. But I still—still can’t find her.” My jaw clenched, my vision hazy with rage. “You have one day,” I growled, stepping closer, towering over him. “If you come back with nothing—you’re dead.” His eyes widened in pure terror, and he wasted no time bolting
