🔵~*father's* *handprints..*

As my father got old, he would hold on to walls and walls while walking. As a result, wherever he touched, the walls became discolored and his fingerprints were left on the walls.

My wife discovered this and would often complain about walls that only she thought were ugly.

One day, father got a headache. With that he massaged some oil on his head. Oil stains appeared on the walls when he touched the oily hand!

Seeing this, my wife shouted at me to tell my father not to touch the walls while walking. Then I shouted at my father and spoke badly.

My father looked at me in pain. I was also ashamed of my behavior, but my father said nothing.

While walking, my father held on to the wall. Then one day he fell down. He soon left us in bed. I felt guilty, and I could never forget my father's expression. His passing away soon after caused me more pain.

After a while, we wanted the house painted. When the painters came, my son, who adores his grandfather, did not allow the painters to clean up his father's fingerprints and erase those parts.

They were very good and fresh. They assured him that they would not remove my father's fingerprints/handprints but would instead create a unique design by drawing a beautiful circle around these marks.

Later, the circle on the wall with my father's handprint became a part of our house. Every person who visits our home appreciates our unique design.

As time goes by I am getting old.

Now I need the support of a wall to walk. One day while walking I remembered

My words to my father, I tried to walk without holding on to the wall. My son saw this and immediately came to me and asked me to hold on to the walls while walking, he expressed concern that I might fall without support, and I realized that my son was holding me.

My granddaughter immediately came forward and lovingly put her hand on her shoulder and asked me to walk. I started crying almost silently inside. If I had done this for my father, he would have lived longer.

My granddaughter picked me up and sat me on the sofa.

Then she took her drawing book to show me.

The teacher appreciated her drawing and gave great comments.

On the walls was a sketch of his father's handprint.

*Her comment - "I wish all children love their adults the same way".*

I came back to my room and started crying and asked for forgiveness from my absent father.

*We also grow old with time. Let us take care of our elders and teach our children the same.*
