* Darkness settled slowly. It was common knowledge that in the ShadowLands, the darkness was constant. It never left, just like the evil which crawled through the very earth. To those who dwelled in the shadows, this was normal. But to an outsider, it was an utterly bizarre sight. And that was how Antonio felt when they arrived on the border of the ShadowLands. The place was so dark and cursed that the storm clouds which settled overhead were confined only to the mountains, whereas the sky became lighter the further one moved away from it. Antonio had a grim look on his face as they climbed onto a rock. He was tired, and he had seen enough of the ShadowLands to last him a lifetime, even though he hadn't even crossed into it yet. He could feel the evil around him, like some foul beast
