That was all Sierra received from her mother when she walked into the house. Eva was standing at the far end of the hall, and she merely looked up, and saw the blood on Sierra’s hand with the tears in her eyes. She said nothing, not even when Alpha Clark stepped into the hall behind Sierra.
He placed his hand on her shoulder, and he looked directly at Eva, a sign that she should forgive Sierra for what she had done. But the response he got was not the one he had been expecting.
