"Would you like to watch the sunset with me?I don't usually have visitors, what do you think?" She suggested. "Come to think of it, I haven't asked for your name before, would you mind telling me your name?". Surprised and excited at the same time " My name is Emilie and you?"

I giggled " My name is Andre, nice to meet you." I extended a hand to make it formal. " You look excited".

" i…I have never had anyone around except for my nanny," she said. " You have never left this place before?" I inquired. " No, I haven't been outside of this place before " her mood went down as she furthered. " Sometimes I wish I could see the city ". City, is she a human? I thought. "How about I tell you about the city." A bright smile spread across her face, her beauty radiating under the sun. "

It was as if a goddess blessed us with a smile. " The city is a bustling place full of people from all walks of life. You would hear the sounds of merchants calling out their wares, the fresh smell of bread wafting from the ovens and the scent of flowers. People live in close quarters with buildings stacked upon each other."

"The palace is an impressive structure with high ceilings and large windows. The walls are adorned with paintings of past rulers. The floor is tiled with marbles." " Have you ever been to the palace before?" She asked. " well… yes, once when I was a child, my father had something important to discuss with the king". "Wow!! That's awesome." She said with a bitter smile, " I wish I could visit the city as well but my nanny won't approve of it".

I felt a sting in my heart knowing fully well how strict her nanny was but regardless of that I still made a promise with her.

" I promise to take you to the city one day, I will show you the palace, the gardens and other beautiful places." Her eyes sparkled with anticipation " really, it's a promise then" extending her pinky finger, I smiled back at her "it's a promise then"." By the way I haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Andre, what's yours?", she said with a smile "My name is Emilie."

Back at the hut,

"They should have arrived by now, what's taking them long". The worried nanny said to herself. " Or should I go looking for them, never mind the werewolf is with her he won't let her get hurt."

" I have been waiting for quite some time now" startled " who are you?" she asked " you've forgotten so soon" he stood up from the seat and stepped out of the dark" does this face ring a bell" with a smile on his face, trying to mask her fear, " what are you doing here?" she asked as she took a step back. "You know what I'm here for?.... Where is she?"

He took a step forward " don't play games with me old woman, you know exactly what I'm talking about, where is she?!!".

His growl shook the entire hut, " do you think you can fool me, you dare hide her from me?" He asked his steps growing heavy, "it's not what you think " she tried to explain but was cut off, " not what I think, do you think I won't find you?" He laughed," when I kill you,I will kill her next" he drove a dagger deep in her chest before letting her go.
