Celeste’s POV  The moment I stepped out of the café, the air just felt off. I walked steadily at first, as if nothing had happened like I hadn’t just been sitting with a man who looked at me in a way that made me choke up inside. Like his mother hadn’t just seen us together. By the time I reached the road, I let out a sharp breath. “What was that, Celeste…” I mumbled to myself. I flagged down a cab and jumped inside, giving the office address without even thinking.
