CHAPTER 15: Confession

CHAPTER 15 AMELIA   Vincent wiped my lips with his thumb as I look up to him and he’s smiling back at me. He extends his hand, and I placed mine on it as I rose from the floor.   “That was a first.” Vincent stated and my heart sank.  “Why? Is it bad?” I asked, ashamed.  He immediately cupped my cheeks and stared into my eyes. “No. What I meant is, I didn’t last long. You were that good, baby.” His smile reflects mine, and I felt proud of myself.  “I want to return the favor.” Vincent whispered, and he scooped me off my feet to lay me gently on the bed. “Where do you want me to start?” He asked as he hovered on top of me. I know he wants me to be in control and he probably wants me to decide what I want to do or how I want to be pleased, but I just want him. I want all of him.  “I just want you, Vincent. It doesn’t matter where I want you to start.” I stated and at first, I didn’t recognize my voice because it sounded so sure.  Vincent stared at me for a few seconds and he slowly smiled, then he leaned in to kiss me. He kissed me gently at first, but when his hand slowly glides down to my breast, his kiss gets more urgent and intense.  How is this even possible? How can this man know exactly how and where to touch me? It’s like every time he touches me, he leaves a trail of spark on my skin and it ignites my whole being. He kisses my neck down to my collarbone while his hand cupped my breast and it’s making me squirm beneath him.  He moved between my legs and his length briefly touched my leg and I can tell that it’s already hard. Just the thought of his hard, thick length excites me.  As if reading my mind, Vincent suddenly thrusted inside me, making me gasp. I shut my eyes in the sudden pressure between my legs and I hear Vincent grunt with each thrust. He clearly was holding himself back earlier based on how urgent his movements are, and it’s making me cling to him more.  “The sounds that you make as I slide in and out of you are so f*****g sexy, baby.” He said, looking at me so devilishly as he moved faster and deeper. I moaned in response, feeling something inside me that is about to explode. I grabbed the headboard above me, holding onto it as Vincent moved faster and faster.   “s**t. You’re still so tight.” He stated with gritted teeth.  I can feel myself exploding soon, and there’s no way I can control it. “I...” I tried to speak, but the feeling is too overwhelming.  “Come with me.” Vincent said, and my body willingly obeyed. All I can was the sound of release from me and Vincent.  “We need to get you on pills.” Vincent said as he wipes the evidence of his release on my belly using a tissue. I stared at the ceiling of the cabin as he wiped me clean. I feel an instant regret knowing that I am still not clear what we are exactly or if he’s sleeping with someone else aside from me.  Vincent threw the tissue in the garbage bin next to bed. He looked back at me and his brows furrowed. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “What are we, Vincent?” I asked without looking at him.  He said nothing for a few seconds, then he propped next to me on the bed. Cupping my cheeks, I turned to look at him and he has a confused expression on his face. “Amelia, I...” he paused. Blinking a few times while his eyebrows furrowed and his jaw clenches, he added, “I never had a girlfriend. I only had girls that I...” he moved his head trying to think of a better word, so I finished his sentence for him.   “Have s*x with?” I said, raising my eyebrow at him with a smirk.    His eyes widen then he smiled, “Well, yes.” He agreed, then added, “But nothing serious. I had no one that makes me want more from them other than sex.” He explained. I shifted my body to face him and waited for him to continue.  He trailed his fingers on my shoulder and just like always, it’s sending me heat waves. He’s looking into my eyes intently without his usual sexy smirk, “Until I met you.” He added, and it caught me by off guard that I said nothing but just stared at him.  “Please say something.” He said with a look of worry on his face. It warms my heart by his sudden confession, but how about Rebecca? I still need to know what is she to him.  “How about Rebecca?” I asked as I stared back at him. His eyebrows furrowed again, and he clearly doesn’t like me mentioning her name, “I don’t like her, if that’s what you really want to know. She’s just someone I knew for a very long time.” I can’t help but smile when he said that he doesn’t like her. Vincent saw my pleased reaction, and he smiled back. “I only want you, Amelia.” He said as he leaned closer for a kiss.  The sun's rays eased its way through the cabin’s curtains. I woke up with Vincent sleeping next to me and he looks magnificent. I still can’t believe that this man wants me. I propped up to admire him as he sleeps. He looks so peaceful and unbothered as I study his features; his eyelashes are probably as long as mine, his eyebrows thick but fits him so well, his nose and his jaw looks like it’s sculptured by a famous artist, and his mouth… his mouth that can make any girl weak in the knees. Aside from his gorgeous face and fit body, there’s something about him that just pulls me. He can be annoying and arrogant sometimes, but he can also be sweet. I don’t want to wake him up, so I got out of bed. After putting on some clothes that he or someone prepared for me inside the closet. I know it’s for me because it literally has my name written on a paper on top of a pile of clothes. I wore a blue maxi dress and a beige jacket as I walked outside of the cabin and head to the bow. The sky looks so beautiful and the waters are so peaceful as we drift along. I closed my eyes as the smell of the ocean filled my nose. Vincent brought me here to forget what happened, to take me away from the reality of my life, and I owe him that. Now that Uncle Mac’s arrested, I have to face Aunt Claire and explain what happened.  “Good morning.” A husky voice spoke from behind me. I turned around to see Vincent walking towards me with tousled hair and a smirk on his face. He looks so adorable, yet sexy. “Good morning.” I greeted back, admiring my view. He leaned in for a kiss as soon as he reached me, and it’s making me giddy inside. “Do you want to head back?” He asked as he wraps his arms around me. “To the cabin?” I asked and almost immediately, salacious thoughts filled my mind. Vincent chuckled as he looks at me, “We have plenty of time of that, baby.” He answered as if reading my mind, and it makes my cheeks heat. He then added, “But for now, I think we should head back to your place. There’s someone who wants to see you.” My eyebrows furrowed, “How did you know that?” I asked, totally confused. He looked at the ocean for a few seconds, then looked back at me, “Gustav texted me.” My eyes widen, and my jaw dropped. “What?!” I blinked a few times, pulling away from Vincent, “How did Gustav know? Did you put a camera at my apartment or something?” I whispered.  Vincent stepped closer to me, looking at me like I’m some kind of wild animal. “No. of course not. I ordered Gustav to go to your apartment just to make sure no one will be there when we come back.” He explained carefully. I think he’s telling the truth, so I eased up. “Okay. Then we should head back.” I said. Vincent exhaled as if he was holding his breath, waiting for me to explode. “Okay. Let’s head back.” Driving away from the dock where the yacht is, is making me sad. I enjoy being away from everything even just for one night and spending it with Vincent makes it so much better, but all good things must end; I guess. I have to still go back to my reality and the drama that comes with it. “Do you want to eat first?” Vincent asked as he drove. “I’m not hungry yet.” I answered. He glanced at me, and he gave me a concerned look. “Are you sure?” “Yes. I wouldn’t want Aunt Claire to wait for a long time.” I insisted, looking out of the window. Vincent said nothing else, so I zoned in on my thoughts. I wonder what will happen when I speak with Aunt Claire. I’m getting nervous and scared.    We reached my apartment building, and my nerves are getting the best of me. I feel like I’m going to throw up. Vincent walked beside me as we turn to my hallway. Then I saw her. Aunt Claire stood just outside of my apartment, eyes cast down and shoulders slumped down. She probably heard us walking towards her when she looked up. Her eyes swollen and reddened, her usual well-kept hair is tousled.  “Amelia.” She whispered as she came running towards me. She grabbed my arm and looks at me in the eye. “What happened? Why did you have your Uncle arrested?” She asks as tears slowly filled her eyes.  “Aunt Claire, I can explain... can we talk about this inside my apar-“ “No!! What did he do to deserve this? How can you do this to him? To me?!” Aunt Claire exclaimed before I can finish what I’m about to say. I can hear my neighboors doors opening behind me and I can feel myself slowly melting away.  “If you want answers, you need to come inside.” Vincent stepped in and look at my Aunt straight in the eye. Aunt Claire looked back and forth between me and Vincent, then she nodded slowly. Vincent took my apartment keys in my hand since I’m still not moving and moved towards my door to open it for us. Vincent and I sat on two armchairs next to each other while Aunt Claire sat on the couch in front of us. I still don’t know where to start because I feel that as soon as I speak, I will start crying.  “What happened, Mel?” Aunt Claire asked.  I peeled my eyes from my knotted fingers on my lap and look up to see her. I can do this, I have to tell her what happened or else she’ll just think that I’m the bad person. Whatever the consequence is, I have to tell the truth.  “Aunt Claire... I’m sorry but-“  “Is this because we fired you? Is that it? That’s so petty of you!” She yelled, rising from the couch and raised her hand as if to slap me, but Vincent swiftly grabbed her arm before it lands on me.  “With all due respect, I suggest you keep your hands to yourself.” Vincent warned, looming over Aunt Claire.  Aunt Claire stared at me for a few seconds with hatred. Then he looks back at Vincent who looks back at her with the same expression. She rolled her eyes at him and yanked her arm from Vincent.  Vincent watched her as she slowly sits back down on the couch. When Aunt Claire stayed seated, Vincent eased up and sat down in his chair. I watched them both as they glared at each other. Having Vincent here definitely makes me braver because I know that he’ll protect me, so I squared my shoulder and look at Aunt Claire as I spoke, “Uncle Mac tried to r**e me.” Aunt Claire’s eyes grew wide and her mouth opened as she stares at me. “It started when I stayed with you guys after mom and dad arrested and then he did it again.” I continued, and I watched her expression changed from sheer shock to anger. “You… You’re lying!” She exclaimed then she rose from her chair again but this time, she didn’t come at me. Vincent watched her carefully, waiting if she’s going to charge at me again. “I wish I was.” I replied, looking back down at my knotted fingers. “That a very serious allegation, Mel. You’re going to ruin him! And me!” Aunt Claire waved her hands in the air as she paces around my living room. This time, her words struck a chord inside me and I just had to speak up, “Ruin?!” I exclaimed as I slowly rose from my chair. “He tortured me mentally, even if he knew that I’m going through my parents being sent to jail. He ruined me!” Aunt Claire just stared at me and she said nothing else. She shakes her head vehemently before turning towards the door. When she paused just before she opens the door, she looked back to me, “You’re on your own now, Mel.” She said. “I’ve always been on my own.” I replied as calm as possible and I know that as soon as Aunt Claire leaves, it’ll be the last time we’ll see each other and that breaks me inside but I don’t dare show it. Saying nothing else, she turned around and left.
