--- Piyasha calls Shiv in anger Location: Sitting in a café after leaving the shopping mall. Piyasha’s face is filled with both anger and hurt. She takes out her phone, searches for Shiv’s name, and directly calls him. Shiv (picking up, with a smile): "Yes, Piyasha, tell me. What’s up?" Piyasha (voice stiff with anger): "Your boss got married, didn’t he?" Shiv (startled): "Uh… yes. You know?" Piyasha (cutting him off): "Know? I just found out seeing Rupsa today! Vermilion in her hair, garland around her neck… her mother-in-law and sister-in-law beside her! She herself told me she’s married!" Shiv (silent): "..." Piyasha (voice heavy): "My best friend got married and didn’t tell me! None of you said anything! Not a word in the office either!" Shiv (without offering excuses): "I’m sorry, Piyasha… the matter was a little complicated." Piyasha (voice trembling): "You could’ve just not told me… but at least a message?" Shiv: "Look, I understand you’re hurt… I’ll talk to Rupsa. Then I’ll sit with you and explain everything myself, okay?" Piyasha (weak voice): "One more thing… is this marriage real? I mean… is it genuine?" Shiv (after a pause): "…It’s all real." --- Scene: Piyasha suspects and begins investigating Location: At night, Piyasha is in her room, browsing Rupsa’s profile on her phone. Piyasha (to herself): "Rupsa is such a quiet girl, and suddenly she marries our boss Hriday? Without telling anyone? No photos, no posts… this can’t be a normal marriage. Something’s wrong!" She messages a junior colleague at the office: "Is Hriday sir coming to the office tomorrow? I’ll drop by…" The next day at the office… As Piyasha enters through the gate, many look at her, knowing she is Rupsa’s close friend. Kajal (a colleague, whispering): "See? Piyasha’s here to find out about Rupsa…" Piyasha goes to reception: "Where’s Hriday sir?" Shiv appears, looking flustered: "You came… come to my room, let’s talk." --- Shiv and Piyasha face to face Piyasha (directly): "Tell me, Shiv. How did Rupsa’s marriage happen? Quietly, in just a day! I’m her best friend—why would she marry without telling me?" Shiv (looking down): "Piyasha… there’s a lot to say, but Rupsa didn’t want this known." Piyasha (sharp tone): "Is this a contract marriage?" Shiv (shocked): "What are you saying?!" Piyasha: "Yes, I understand. Rupsa was doing something for her mother, I know that. And Hriday suddenly marries her?" Shiv (restless, standing up): "What you’re thinking isn’t fully right… Rupsa agreed herself. And she’s happy in her new life now." Piyasha (softly): "She’s happy, is she?" --- Scene: Evening at the mansion drawing room An eerie silence fills the house. Elders are having tea, some busy on their phones, some whispering. Suddenly, Kartik’s wife says softly: "Did you hear? Kabir is coming back tomorrow… from London." The room goes quiet. No one speaks. Uncle (nervously): "Are you sure? He said after what happened three years ago, he’d never step into this house again." Grandmother (anxious): "Yes, but this time he’s coming himself. Didn’t you see his message in the family group?" Aunt (worried): "But why now? Right after Hriday’s sudden marriage?" Kartik (serious): "Because Kabir doesn’t trust anyone. If he suspects something is being hidden, he’ll turn the whole house upside down to know the truth." Younger cousin (trying to joke): "Should we hide the breakables then?" Kartik’s wife: "I’m more worried about Rupsa. What if Kabir questions her too much?" Uncle (deeply concerned): "Tomorrow, everyone be careful. Kabir isn’t easy to deceive." --- Scene: Afternoon in the Rathore mansion kitchen Rupsa is chopping onions beside Mina, Kabir’s mother. The aroma of spices and ghee fills the room. Mina stirs the pan with a smile. Mina (smiling): "Do you know, Rupsa, when Kabir was little, he was such a picky eater? Only wanted my Kashmiri dum aloo. That’s why today I’m cooking all his favorite dishes." Rupsa (shy, softly): "Really? I didn’t think you cooked so well!" Mina (laughs): "When we mothers feed with love, cooking naturally becomes good." She pauses, then speaks softly: "Your husband Hriday and Kabir were opposites as children. Kabir was quiet, always with books. Hriday? The mischief king! Whenever Kartik and Hriday were together, the house would be in shambles." Rupsa smiles faintly but holds back words. "Now everyone seems so calm…" Mina (sighing): "Time changes people, Rupsa… but Kabir is still the same. Always in his own world. Look, yesterday when he saw your wedding photos, he didn’t say anything, just hung up… for him, everything must be perfect." Rupsa looks down, startled. Mina notices but says nothing. "You’ve grown dear to me, Rupsa. You’re calm, understanding. Kabir will also realize that something beautiful has entered this house." --- Scene: Kolkata airport, 7 PM Kartik (35, sharp, in shirt and trousers) and Karish (21, with headphones, casual jacket) wait at arrivals. Karish holds a placard: “Welcome Back, Kabir Bro!” Karish (smiling): "Bro, Kabir will be shocked when he sees this placard!" Kartik (rolling his eyes): "He won’t be shocked, he’ll be angry. He’s a big man now, doesn’t waste time laughing." The doors slide open. Passengers walk out. Suddenly, everyone freezes—Kabir has arrived… but not alone. Beside him is a beautiful, confident woman in Western attire. Kartik (eyes wide): "…Who’s that girl?" Karish (removing headphones, stunned): "Bro, Kabir just entered like a movie hero! And that girl… oh my god!" Kabir, serious in a sharp beige suit, removes his sunglasses and walks towards them. The woman smiles while pulling the trolley. Kartik (whispering): "Is she his girlfriend? Or… wife?!" Karish (grinning): "This family drama is about to catch fire!" --- Scene: Night, at the mansion The mansion glows with lights. Everyone waits at the gate—Mina, Tithi, Kartik, Karish, Hriday, and others. Kabir enters with the woman at his side, walking confidently. Mina (tearful): "My son… after so long!" Kabir hugs her. Everyone is happy, but eyes are fixed on the woman. Tithi (curiously): "Brother… who is she? A friend?" Kabir (with a mysterious smile): "She is my wife." The room falls silent. Father (shouting): "You’re joking with me, Kabir?! You got married and didn’t tell us?" Mina (grabbing her head): "What did you say? Married? When? Where? To whom?" Kartik (shocked): "You only said you were going on a business trip!" Karish (quietly): "…That’s why he said he wouldn’t do anything outside his plan…" Hriday (coldly): "I knew Kabir would pull something like this. Who can stop him?" Rupsa, standing in the back, wide-eyed, thinks: "In this family, are surprise marriages normal?" Everyone sits down, the atmosphere heavy. Mina’s special dishes on the table lie untouched, growing cold. The woman introduces herself: "My name is Saira. Kabir’s wife. We got married in court a month ago." Kartik (restraining anger): "A month ago?! And we learn it today? What kind of joke is this?" Kabir (firmly): "I knew you’d be angry, that’s why I didn’t say. But I love her. And she loves me." Father (furious): "Love means leaving out family?! Have you forgotten the traditions of this house?" Mina (tearful): "I dreamt of your wedding, Kabir… I missed you desperately… why so secretly?" Hriday (calm voice): "Mother, he made his choice. Right or wrong, time will tell." Rupsa (standing silently, worried in her mind): "If our marriage gets exposed… what will happen?" Tithi (innocently blurts): "So now we’ll have two ‘secretly married wives’ in the house?" Everyone stares at her. Tithi quickly goes silent. Rupsa stiffens, lowering her eyes. Hriday glances at her for a moment. --- Kabir’s words spark chaos Kabir (angrily): "Even Hriday married secretly! Nobody questioned him then! Why so many questions for me?" Father (furious, eyes blazing): "Hriday has no father! He’s an orphan in that sense—no one to answer to! But you? I’m alive! And you dared do this without telling me?!" The room goes dead silent. Kabir falters at his father’s words. Mina (tearful, softly): "Don’t say such things… Hriday is still part of this family…" Hriday quietly stands up, eyes filled with unspoken thoughts, and leaves without a word. His mother follows with tears in her eyes. Tithi (taking Rupsa’s hand, softly): "Come, Rupsa, let’s go to the room. There’s no peace here anymore." Rupsa lowers her head, going with her. Her face shows worry—what is happening in this family, and where does she stand in it? --- Next morning During breakfast, the family sits with tea. A car pulls up. Out steps a composed, neat man with a bag, his eyes steady. Introduction: He is Dev, the personal assistant of Hriday’s grandfather. Everyone knows him, respects him. Father (startled): "Dev? You here?" Dev (calm smile): "Grandfather sent me." He says nothing more, just starts taking pictures—of Kabir, his wife, the family members, especially the newlyweds. The sound of the camera makes the atmosphere tense. Kabir (softly, concerned): "Did grandfather say anything about me?" Dev (without meeting his eyes): "He instructed me not to say anything now. You’ll know later." Everyone is stunned. Hriday knows—grandfather never stays silent without reason. Surely, something big is about to happen. Rupsa (thinking silently): "Did our wedding photos reach him? What will happen now?" ---
