Davina shook in fear. Even the maids were all scared. Slowly, Duron turned his head to behold her. Davina looked into his eyes and those eyes were not good at all.
She had never seen Duron in that state before, not even when Nathan tried to take advantage of her.
“I didn't mean to! I was just trying to protect myself, she attacked me first, I only tried to protect myself!” Davina tried to explain.
Duron only looked at her without saying a word but with eyes saying a million words.
“You liar! You pushed me on purpose, you tried to kill my child and now, you did just like you did in my dream” Diana began to sob the more as she held her stomach tight. “Now my baby is gone”
Those words went a long way into Duron’s head. That was his baby, his first child.
