Davina stirred occasionally in her sleep. With fear and shock in her eyes, she woke up panting. Looking around, it w as still very dark. She could not understand why she was having nightmare. Duron was her only nightmare and now that they lived together, she did not expect to have any more nightmares. He was enough.
In her dream, she was in a midst of hungry and fierce looking tigers. They were about to devour her when she suddenly woke up. She knew for sure that she had seen Nadir in the dream. Nadir sat quietly and watched as the tigers made towards her.
With extreme difficulty, she forced herself back to sleep as the night was still young. She wished her mother could cuddle her back to sleep or someone. Renata would have gladly done it but she was asleep and she did not want to both
