Monday evening, February 18th
Fresh from their burglary, Dolph sat atop the fence in the back yard and pulled Brayker up to him.
“Why did you pick him?” Brayker asked as he swung his leg over the top wooden slat.
Dolph nodded at the blue SUV parked in the front yard. “Easy target, man.”
“Nah, man. That dude who keeled over had money. It’s like you had some kinda vendetta against him.”
“The dude f****d me and my mom at The Y,” Dolph said. “Payback is a b***h, right? Let’s go, quick, before someone catches us.”
