Erin’s POV Once Beta Daniel delivered his message and shut the door, the car began to slowly move away from the arena and towards home. We sit in silence for a short while; I’m unsure of what the others are thinking, but I send a silent prayer for the girls who weren’t as lucky as us. I pray for mercy for them and that whatever happens next to them is kinder than The Hunt. Briefly I admire the strength of Katy and Becky, though I’m unable keep my mind there for long. For I too share that strength and I’m not ready to acknowledge what I’ve been through, nor to consider the longer term implications of what happened here.
