Erin’s POV * * * * * * * * Hand in hand, Cait and I run through a meadow. We’re laughing and care free, “Look, Erin. Look!” She squeals in excitement. My eyes follow the direction of her pointed arm. In the distance, there’s a group of wolves playing chase and play fighting. The majestic beasts that we’re watching aren’t normal wolves. They are shifters. Men and women that turn into a wolf at will. They spot us watching, kind of hard to miss when Cait is bobbing up and down like a damn Jack in the box with her excitement. The moment that I know this is a dream, is the moment I become excited as they approach. I’m not afraid. In my dream world, wolves and humans get along.
