His large hands grip my upper arms and he pulls me from the ground, as though I weigh no more than a bag of sugar. “I suppose you think you’re clever, with your little stunt at the last event and now this! Where is she going?” He demands of me.
“We we’re going to escape. She’s going to the other side of the boundary, obviously,” I pour as much sarcasm as I can into my response. The longer I keep his attention on me, the longer Becky has to escape.
“King Black, where is the other one?” A man asks him, I’m guessing this is one of his ranked wolves.
“In the tunnel. Have Lucas help you track her outside the border, Adam,” Black snaps.
