Erin’s POV
The three of us tear through the tree line like bats out of hell. It’s been deadly silent since the wolves were released, but we’ve continued pushing the pace. Ensuring that we spread our muddy scents mixed with the scent of each other on our clothing on anything possible, changing directions and sprinting away again.
“Copy me,” Becky shouts as she scales the tree she’s just rubbed against.
Katie and I both climb the trees we are near. Once we reach near the top, we spot Becky. I gasp as she leaps onto the branch of a near by tree. “Let them wonder if we’re still up here. It’ll drive them crazy,” she laughs.
