Erin’s POV He lunges so fast from the water, I barely have time to turn my body. As his hands connect with my shoulders, his motion propels me backwards. It’s during my fall that I see the first signs of sun rise. I haven’t come this far, or lasted this long only to fall at the last hurdle. “THE SUN IS U..P!” I scream, the word up broken as I hit the ground and the air whooshes from my lungs. “Tell somebody who cares.
