Overwhelmed by the news, he stood up spontaneously and looked at his mother.
“You don't mean this, mom,” he panicked.
“We shall see,” Mrs Clyde said with a smile.
He rushed out of the dining room immediately and proceeded to the stairs. Walking into the bedroom, he could see Ryan and Sophia beside the bed, attending to Samantha whose body was lying under the duvet.
He stopped frantically and didn't know what to do at the moment. He looked at Ryan with strong contempt and voiced out, “ Your time here is over, get out.”
“I was only helping,” Ryan fired back.
“And your help isn't needed anymore,” Ryker said angrily.
Sophia whispered a word to Ryan and she took his hand and led him out of the room. Mrs Clyde walked in as soon as they left and she smiled and sat on the bed beside Samanth
