Stepping into the passage, she bumped into Ryan who was approaching the stairs.
“Sam,” he called anxiously and tried to grab hold of her hands.
She tried to run away but he pulled her back forcefully.
“Don't do this, I'm sorry for last night,” he whispered into her face.
“Hmph!” She fumed in exasperation and pulled away from him.
She heard footsteps from the stairs and she ran away immediately. Ryan stood, looking baffled with his hand running through his hair. He saw Ryker appearing on the passage and he gasped with relief.
“You're back, brother,” he said with excitement and walked over to him.
