Prologue
The kingdom of Amoora could be considered a paradise by some.
Lush, sprawling landscapes; healthy fields of crops, a dazzling oceanside with the softest of sandy beaches, the variety of villages and towns each a melting pot of races and cultures. It was, overall, rather quaint with rarely an incident of bandits or more than petty crime; the people content to live their days as they desired, enjoying the peaceful era given to them by the royal family.
The Aster’s had long reigned Amoora, their ancestors having waged a fierce and bloody war against the tyrants who had originally ruled the lands. The lives of the previous rulers were the cost paid to grant freedom and peace to the people, and since that victory whether by blood or by marriage whomever holds the throne bears the surname ‘Aster’- one of the highest honours one can achieve, in the eyes of many.
It is that exact honour that has called many to Ashyx, the capitol of Amoora and home of its dear royal family. A chance to be married into legend; a chance to become something more someone important, a chance to fall in love, or at least the chance to experience a life unlike anything most of them had ever had before.
For you see, Queen Trifka and King Mowry had but a single child of age to have found their mate… Yet, he had not yet found his mate. Nor had he seemed to have even attempted to find them, despite his parent's encouragement and ‘gentle’ nudging for him to do so. They wanted their son happy, they wanted him to find the omega (or alpha, they would not judge him should he be unconventional) that would rule by his side one day once he ascended the throne.
Frustrated with knowing that Oryis (o-rhye-is) is aware of his mate existing somewhere in their kingdom, but refusing to search for them, Trifka and Mowry take matters into their own hands. If Oryis would not go to his mate, perhaps then they could bring his mate to him.
Thus castle Ashyx is to find itself home to countless guests of various ages; sexes, orientations and races. For a month they may live within the castle walls and treat it as home; explore to their hearts content, visit the town, perhaps even find love of their own should they not happen to catch the eye of Oryis himself. Maybe it is not the best plan of action, but the people are excited for a chance to mate their of age offspring to the beloved prince of the lands, and who wouldn’t want to take the chance to live in luxury for as long as they could?
Trifka and Mowry have done what they can, now all that remains is to keep watch of the proceedings and hope their stubborn son will finally accept the calling of his instincts and welcome his mate into their family… That is, if his mate even wants to be part of the great Aster legacy, something neither of them had quite considered before.
One month, one mate but an entire lifetime to live with the consequences of whatever choices are made. They just want their son to be happy, to be complete with his mate by his side… Only time will tell if the Gods cast their favour upon the Aster’s, or if a mistake has been invited into the very heart of their home, of their family itself.
