A WORK SEMINAR
Liz had taken time off from work and was still tense about Anne’s death. That poor girl didn’t deserve such a horrible death. No-one did. At least Marco was investigating, but this situation had become more complicated, and she wondered if Anne was dealing with partner abuse or something more. She might’ve escaped the hospital because she was terrified of something.
Liz returned to work on Monday, and in the afternoon, she’d agreed to attend a work seminar with Gabriella.
