A SURPRISE VISITOR
The following weekend, Liz got off the phone with Jamie and Bella. She appreciated their concern, but it was getting tiring to hear Domenic’s name. She’d rather get on with her day than think about the monster who haunted her dreams. He could no longer hurt her.
Liz put in a load of washing then headed to the front door to pick up a few grocery items for lunch. As she left her building into the quiet street, she stopped dead in her tracks.
