Chapter 34: Amy’s Christmas Party

Evan and Amy’s condo looked like a page out of Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, prior to the Grinch’s masterful destruction in the small town of Whoville. Every room inside the place exploded in Christmastime décor. Three Christmas trees stood tall, holly and mistletoe hung from every doorway, and wrapped gifts, glimmering in red and green paper, were positioned around the place in every nook and cranny. The scent of cinnamon mixed with marshmallow filled each of the rooms, Christmas carols rang out from Evan’s Sony stereo system, and yuletide cheer came in glasses of eggnog and bourbon.
