Chapter 18: Hill House Rehabilitation Hill House Rehabilitation looked ominous in the blizzard. It reminded Avery of Stephen King’s The Shining and the haunted Overlook hotel. Three massive blocks comprised the rehabilitation center. Judd said the blocks were A, B, and C. Block A housed the severely clinical: self-abusive cutters, those who were suicidal, and hardcore meth users struggling to become clean. Block B worked with the depressed and alcoholics. And block C was filled with drug addicts who stood a chance to survive in the world again after three to six months of rehabilitating service.
