Chapter Nine

King Stephan was so proud of his daughter that he bragged about her attack to her mother over and over. Telling her every single detail in the most incredible way. Abigail had questions though but she held them back till after lunch. They enjoyed a chicken salad for lunch and Abigail was already going for her fourth serving. Stephan looked at her and started laughing out of his stomach. "I can definitely see that this was the first time your wolf has reared her pretty little head. Are you starving?" he kept laughing almost folding over with the pains of the laughter. "Ohh... was that why you asked me why I am eating so little this morning." I started giggling. This information was probably also coming after lunch.  "So for the next part, I need you to be open minded and to obey the laws of the universe. Do you understand?" king Stephan started really serious. Abigail nodded and he continued. "The first rule is food - You have to eat for four people now with your wolf in the picture. The second rule is emotions - You must never use your wolf when," "Grace" Abigail interrupted. "Okay, you can not use... Grace when you can't contain your emotions." he continued with a huge smile on his face. "Is there only these two rules?" Abigail asked. He nodded and continued to ask her if she had any questions. "Well um yes. How come when the Alpha from that other pack bit me there was no marks when I shifted back? Grace had blood on her rear leg." she asked and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from Stephan's desk. "You're a hybrid. You heal instantly. Even faster then me and I am the strongest Alpha alive." he was happy that she had questions. "Oh that is awesome. Okay then to my next question. Isn't an alpha supposed to be the pack leader and the strongest person in the pack?" she continued. He laughed and pride was now glowing from his eyes. "Yes. That is true. I am so proud of you. Normal lycan's can shift from the age of 7. You are 17 and this was your first shift. I am so proud and you are the best student I have ever had." Stephan answered.  "Lance told me that you can't date or marry just anyone. If I am so different how am I going to know or even meet my life long partner if I am the only hybrid alive?" she continued, hurt flooded his eyes and he bowed his head to the new question not sure how to answer her question. "Sweetheart, I am sorry I am going to try to answer your question but you gave me a hard one now. I am not sure what to tell you. Can you ask your question to your mother?" he looked down at his hands as if he knew the answer but did not have the heart to tell her the truth.
