Being in Matthews arms had me calming down and I was able to think clearly again. I knew that I was hurting my baby by working myself up like that. His touch was so soothing he just held me, and I couldn’t bring myself to push him away. I wanted Nick I needed him, silent tears fell from my eyes and he wiped them away. My skin tingled from where he touched me, and I closed my eyes wanting it to stop.
“Alli, are you calm now?” Matthew whispered in my ear.
I shivered and I hated myself for it.
“Yes,” I said feeling drained.
“We have to find him Matt.” I said trying to not to cry again.
“We will I promise. Just try to rest for the sake of the baby.” He said sounding worried.
“I won’t stop looking for him till I’ve found him and brought him back to you,” he said holding me close.
