5. His Fury Ball

"Mate.. mate" Alex howl jumping inside his head.
She was saying something panicking but he could not hear her. Her soft red plump lips moving staring up at him with her blue iris. So beautiful. Not a single words come out of his mouth.
She is alive. His queen. His Luna. His mate is alive.
"My Luna.. my Queen"
A panic strick him watching as fear form in her eyes. She fear him. What if she runs away? No he can't allow that. He need to trap her. He blurred out detention without thinking twice.
"Alpha King are you alright? Do we take her to the dungeon? She's a human but.." His beta Cameron mind link him.
"No" he growl in their mind link. No one should dare touch her.
"She's my mate. You're Luna Queen"
"What?" Cameron yells out looking surprise with fear in his eyes. Glaring at Hunter. Then at the human.
"Alex let's think straight.. stop blabbering. ALEX" he yells at his wolf blabbering pacing in his mind blocking him from thinking anything straight.
He walks away not wanting to say anything he would regret later. He always imagine meeting his mate and he was always ready for the occasion. Just that he did not expect was a Human mate. How would he handle it?
"Alpha King? Jared.. you should calm down. Relaxed and you can think it through. Meet her later and talk it out" his beta say.
"How can I calm down? I gave her detention the moment we met. She must hate me.. like everyone" he mutters angrily pacing around the room.
"That human is your mate?" Hunter says his face stoic holding no emotions but his voice lace with disgust.
Jared stop pacing and immediately snap his head towards him. Walking towards him with blood shot eyes. Wanting blood.
He dare looks down on his mate.
"That's Luna Queen to you. Third in command. That human is my mate. Your Alpha King mate." He grits evey words out staring down at him. Clenching his fist ready to punch him if he dares says another words about his mate again.
Human or not she's his mate and no one is allow to look down on her.
"I'm sorry Alpha King" Hunter immediately kneels down bowing his head. His wolf whimpering not able to stand the power his Alpha King wolf was emitting.
"Jared what about your fiance?" Cameron ask concern knowing it would be a mess later. Phoebe father is a power hunger alpha. He wouldn't let this slide.
"I'll handle it and Beta Cameron that she wolf is not my fiance. That girl with the blue eyes is my mate. Know who is your Luna Queen" he dead panned. His wolf growling at the mention of Phoebe.
"Call a meeting soon i'm cancelling the engagement. No one can stop me" he say his eyes glowing showing he was dead serious.
"Alpha King the Queen mother would not be pleased. A human Luna Queen that had never happen before. Their would be uproar among the council" Jared glares at them. His eyes turning Golden brown showing his wolf was not happy hearing that.
They dare to question their Alpha King decision.
"I apologize Alpha King I'll arrange a meeting" his beta respond immediately bowing showing his neck.
"And that better be soon Beta Cameron" the sooner it is done the earlier he can claim his mate.
"Let's have lunch while we're here.. it's been years we had school canteen food.." he clear his throat awkwardly walking out of the office heading towards the canteen. Cameron smile hiding his laugh walking behind his Alpha.
"School Canteen?" Hunter ask oblivious why Jared wants to have lunch with some low bunch of werewolves and human. Cameron grin winking at Hunter.
Every eyes snap turning around to look as their Alpha King enters the canteen.
His beta smile assuring everyone to continue their lunch. Jared eyes constantly scanning for the girl with blue eyes, fade to blonde hair in a cute beige dress. He could smell her sweet scent in the canteen of Vanilla and lavender. So sweet and so addicting.
He caught her sitting besides some werewolves playing with her food. He frown sitting down on a table directly facing her. Why was she not eating? She already over thin and fragile. He wants to embrace her and hides her away. Protecting her from all eyes. Danger and pains.
"Find out what they served here" he order not flicking his eyes away from his mate. Studying and observing. Taking in as much as he can see. He would be needing it later.
Cameron nudge Hunter to inquire who frown.
"That's a beta work" he growl lowly glaring at Cameron. But stood up and walk away.
"Jared staring at her won't do you both any good. She's a human she don't know anything about us.. or mates. How this thing works. But she would learn slowly.." he says not liking the look on his Alpha, his friend struggling. Wanting to approach his mate but clueless on how to.
"Cameron she's a human and of all I did something she would hate me on our first meet" he mutters back looking down. His shoulder droop.
"That's the same with my mate. I pull her tail when I first discovered she was my mate. She hated me for a long time. I thought she would reject me but.. the bond. Don't underestimate it. It's powerful so strong it makes it impossible to survive without one another" he smile remembering his mate.
"That's different Cameron. You both are wolves" he growl. They are on a different page.
"No I don't mean that. We started on the wrong foot. I embarrassed her on our first meet infront of everyone pulling her tail. But we still work it out. The bond pull us together.. hold on to it and the bond would also do its part" Jared remain silent taking in his word. Will they really work out?
A human and a werewolves? That alone sounds like a joke to him..
"Jared we can do it. I can feel her. She's waiting for us.. I don't know how.. but it's like she can hear me" Alex his wolf says coming to the front. Admiring his mate.
"She's so beautiful and she's ours" he replied back to which his wolf nods back vigorously.
He watch as she got up walking away discarding her food. She was only having salad? Green vegetables? And a large portion was thrown away. He growl not approving her action.

"That's all for today.. class dismissed" the teacher walks do does the others. School was done but Stacey have to stay back for detention from a petty person who could not just accept an apology.
"See ya Stacs.." Michelle wave walking out of the classroom.
She groans softly mentally exhausted picking her bag ready to head for detention. Her phone vibrates.
"Hey Sam I'm having detention. You guys can leave" she says talking in the phone walking in the hallway. Oblivious someone was behind her.
"Detention. Don't tell me you're the girl?" He shouts through the phone.
"But unfortunately I am.." Sam curse under his breathe.
"I'm sorry Stacey. I should have been with you. But there's nothing I can do in my power.. " Sam was the next in line for Alpha of his pack the Blue Moon Pack and soon his coronation will be held. If it was just a teacher who hold no position he can pass an order. But it was the Alpha King.
"Sam it wasn't your fault. Don't wait for me. I know the way-" a growl cut her off behind her. It was loud and seems like angry. Stacey turns around slowly only to see the person responsible for her detention glaring at her.
He may be handsome but what's the use. So arrogant and petty. He can't even let a mistake slide. It piss her more.. for an unknown reason she was irritated and disappointed.
"I'll catch a cab later. Don't worry.. bye" she hangs up before Sam could say anything.
She frown glaring back at Jared with an annoyed, pissed expression evident in her blue eyes. His lips twitch a little liking his little mate turning into a soft little fury ball.
"Wait hold up" he speak out as she turn around walking away. She stop.
"Yes.. how can I help you? Do you want another apology? Too bad I'm not in the mood to apologize again" she snap at him.
He really is handsome beyond handsome for words to describe.. and tall along with it.. well built and muscular, with large broad shoulder, a strongly well defined facial features. His chiseled jaw looking sharp freshly shave. His hazel eyes twinkling at her like he found his new amusement. His shining brown hair looking so soft and smooth.
"No I'm here to make sure you would not escaped detention." Stacey stare at him astonish. She thought he was going to apologizes. She bites her lips holding back herself from bursting out.
This man was unbelievable. He was the first in her life.. arrogant, overly handsome with a shameless, smug attitude.
First, he spoiled her first day of school.
Second, he is pissing her off.
"You don't need to worry I'm not so self centre I'll be a petty little kid unlike someone" she walks away taking heavy step just a step away from stomping her feet angrily like a spoil child.
"Then shall we? I'll be waiting on you. The more time we waste the more it will extend.. I'll make it very sure it would be exactly five hours" he looks down at the watch on his hand. Walking besides her calmly.
"What? You're not a teacher. Why would you wait on me?" She ask him hating his guts. On one side she felt so attracted towards him while on the other she just want to be far away from him. Before she lost her sanity.
"Hmm.. why would I wait on you? Good question.. maybe I just want to see how far the fury ball can burn. I own everything.. power. Honey.. that's what got me here" he says back arrogantly shrugging his shoulder.
He sure know how to piss someone.
"I never knew a handsome face can be this annoying" she mutters softly confident he would not hear. Stomping her feet a little. So adorable.. he thought.
His eyes immediately snap back at her widening. Slowly his tight lips twitch forming a small smile. His wolf howling happily. He cough hiding his smile.
"Lead the way. I don't want to be trap here any longer. Especially with a narcissist like you" she turn around walking away knowing he was following behind her.
Jared face palmed himself knowing he just pissed his mate more. The actual reason was he came to apologize, cancelling the detention and mend things with her. But he just keep on messing it more. Everything seems to be going the wrong way.
"What's your name?" He cough hiding his awkwardness. Catching up with her.
"What's that to you. So you can report me again" she snap again lowly. Making the Alpha King flinch. His wolf whine sadly with his mate hating him.
"Huh? What? No.." he frantically says back not wanting her to get the wrong idea. His just innocently wants to know his mate name.
Stacey stare at the man infront of her watching how his expression change from calm to slightly surprise. But he remain too stoic and aloof she doubt she saw an emotion cross his face.
"Where is-" Stacey not knowing where the detention class is turn towards the man besides him wanting to ask but stop immediately seeing his eyes.
His hazel eyes were all fog. He was not listening to her. He was not with her.
He angrily growl lowly fuming startling Stacey as she flinch stepping back. His hand clench breathing hard.
"Are you ok?" She softly whisper suddenly a concern feeling overcome her.
Jared inhale trying to calm his wolf from shifting right beside his mate and scaring her. Traumatizing her.
"No detention for today. Go home. And I mean it GO. HOME. STRAIGHT" his hazel eyes burn through her. His voice firm and stern as he spell each words daring her to disobeyed him.
Stacey immediately nod unconsciously standing stiff. Something in his eyes comply her to obey him.
He stare at her once again before he turn walking away. Her stiff tense body and slight fear in her eyes imprint in his mind.
"It's not going to be easy" he say talking to his wolf. His large heavy footstep carrying him farther away from her.
"Nothing is easy. Even making pups" his wolf reply back making him face palm mentally as he scoff.
Stacey stood still as she watch Jared walks away. He was a mystery to her.
