Episode 9

At the surface Frank would always visit the sea side hoping to see Maria again. His friends knew the sea side to be his new favorite place and would go there in search of him when his attention is needed and as assumed they would always find him there.

On the faithful day, he went to the sea side again in his red shorts and blue sleeveless. He stood at the edge of the sea watching it attentively when his friends came to him.

"Hey Frank let's go and play" one of his friends Carlo said to him touching him on the shoulder from behind.

" You should go. I'll catch up soon" Frank said turning to face them.

" that's what you said the last time but never showed up!" the other friend, Aran said doubting he'll join them later if they are to leave.

" yeah and that's not the first nor sixth time" Carlo said agreeing with Aran.

" if you don't wanna hang up with us anymore let us know. You've been regularly coming to the sea side ever since your dad claimed to have caught a mermaid " Aran said somewhat angry.

"I hope you are not assuming it to be true. Wake up buddy! Mermaids are not real. They are only but fairytale and your dad probably said so to get attended fro others. He is pathetic!" he rudely said to Frank face.

" He's not!" Frank snapped "And he's not lying either! I said I'll join you later if you have a problem with that then deal with it!" Frank fired angrily walking passed them to sit on the rock 9 meters away from them.

"If you like don't join us forever that's your business not ours!" Aran yelled and left angrily. Carlo shook his head sadly and followed Aran.

In the sea, every one arrived at the palace looking their best. All mermaids and mermen painted and decorated their tails with glitters. Bane was sited with Jena below the royal seats, his tail painted black and the edge of his scales decorated with golden coloured glitters.
