Chapter 3 - The Girl?

 If I had known any better, today will be bad day for me. "Better get ready an extra shirt and pant if today end like assumed it is. After all, that chick can get out of control sometimes." Why I think I need to prepare for the worst? Well, I will have to meet that chick and I have meeting at 2pm. I can do it.

Sigh...

- In the restaurant -

    From my arrival, Jessie keep chirping like a bird talking about her days and stuffs. I don't really paid any attention as I am thinking how should I said what I plan to tell her. After I finished ordering, I looked directly to Jessie. 

" What's wrong baby? Do you miss me so much? You've been so quiet and keep looking at me." cooed Jessie with that slutty voice of hers. 

    Jessie is a good looking woman with luscious body. It had been a good time having her around. However, I heard that she been sleeping around with another dude. It's not like I am jealous or whatsoever as me and Jessie is not dating each other. We having s*x and that's it for me. The problem is that the another guy that she had been sleeping around is my rival which is also my distant cousin and that is just gross. It make me think that I should just end things with her. 

"Baby?" Jessie called me snapping me back into reality.

Here's goes nothing.

"I'm bored. Let's end this." I calmly said with my lazy tone to Jessie.

"Seriously??  You're joking right? We are perfect with each other, Danny. You and I are compatible both as partner among our circles and s*x. Why you suddenly said this? Did something happened baby?" Jessie said in increasing tone which annoyed me. 

 "Slow down your voice. I don't mind announcing that I already bedded you but do you really think you want to wear it up on your sleeve because your voice kinda saying that you want to do just that." 

Jessie turned red.

I continue, "I hate to break the news to you. As compatible as you think we are, I beg to differ. I mean, it was fun to go around and the s*x are goods too but I'm bored. We agreed from the start that we only looking for fun with no string attached. However, I heard that you been telling people around that we are some sort of item which is big no for me. I don't wanna say this but I don't like to sleep with a w***e that been sleeping around left alone dating one. It's actually kind of degrading my standard. As we know, my standard are pretty high."

Jessie face turned redder and her eyes went black. Well my words must really pissed her off. Which one though? 

" What the hell?? Who do you think you are. You are a notorious player and you dare to call me a w***e. Ain't that funny? You will be begging me for s*x later because I am the best you can get but you know what? We're so over!" she screamed and throw her drinks to me causing customers that in the restaurant look towards our direction before stormed out of the restaurant. 

Great. Now everyone looked at the wet me. Just great. Just like I expected. 

"Waitress, I am sorry for the ruckus and please bring me the bill. Thank you"

Suddenly, my phone rings and Abraham name appear. My best friend. I smiled.

"Hey man"

"Hey bro. You're good?"

"I'm good.. I just have to take care the business I'm telling you last night."

Abraham chuckled and say " How is it? Bad huh? Well, I really thought you cancel the plan. I thought you like Jessie and may want to settle down with her, mate"

 That causing me to stifle my laugh. Me and Jessie? Hell no. "I never like that girl that much. I kept her around because she's good in bed. Other than that, I have no other reason. Plus, if I really want to commit a girl, I definitely would not choose that w***e who pretending she is loyal while she sleeping with other guy behind my back. Well, at least that dude is the one who need to handle that woman. Damn, now I have to get change as she threw water at me. I'll be there for the meeting in approximately thirty minutes.See you then."

"Okay bro. Make sure you arrived fast and dry. Haha. Bye." Abraham laugh still linger till the call ended.

The waitress really take a good time to bring my bills and it is awfully silent since the drama as all of the eyes are still on me. It make me feel awkward and to make things worse, I don't have even a tissue to wipe my face. I should asked for it earlier. Luckily this restaurant is a bit secured so I don't have to worry this drama goes into tabloid or whatever.. Suddenly...

"Use this to wipe your face. It's a terrible thing to happen to anyone in public. Hopefully you have an extra suit as I only can offer you this handkerchief. Take it." that sweet voice break the silent. I looked up and I see a woman with black hair is standing right in front of me holding out a handkerchief to me. She is really petite. High probably a bit less than 150CM? She seem like an ordinary and simple girl but why I can't stop looking at her. The perfume she wearing entice me more. Who is this girl? The awkwardness in her voice make me more intrigue to know her. She's cute. Wait, did i really think that?

She had worry look on her face. Maybe she feel sorry because she overheard the drama? I kept wondering while i take the handkerchief she offered.  

"Thank you for being so kind toward me, miss. You don't have to do that just because you listened to my conversation with the lady. Still, thank you. I also please to tell you that I did bring an extra suit in my car as I was expecting this to happen. So rest assure. Thanks." I told her while I wipe my face using that handkerchief. The handkerchief is good and has an initial of A.H on it. Her name maybe? It's rare to see someone has the same habit as me.

 She looked at me apologetically. "I am sorry for doing that although I am not intentionally did that. I'll appreciate it if you'll forgive me. I got to go. Take care of yourself." and she started to walked away. Maybe running away? She is cute

Before I lose her from my sight, I said "Apology accepted, Miss A.H.. Take care of yourself too. Thanks again."

After I paid the bills and changed my clothes, I quickly jumped into my car to go to my meeting. Luckily I arrived on time and we have successful meeting with the client. I heard that this client is difficult but somehow I felt like this meeting went like a breeze. Maybe because of the lady luck that I met earlier on? Thinking that way make me left out of a chuckle and feel ridiculous. Somehow, out of sudden I believe in luck?

Abraham looked at me with curious look. " What's happened Dan? The usually serious CEO of Moon Group actually laugh after a meeting. Now, that is an amazing view. Wanna tell me?"

That make me let go of a laugh and it make Ab pushing me for details even more. Ab had been my best friends since forever and he also had helped me to build my company from scratched. He helped me to change my life from a poor boy to one of the youngest billionaire in our country. Who had thought that it is possible? We started in tech industry but now we ventured into other industries like film and fashion industries. He is my brother and my family.

"Okay. I'll tell you. At the restaurant, I met a girl. Somehow, I can not stop thinking of her and I don't know why."

Ab gasped " Seriously. You had dumped a girl and you trying to get a new girl in bed in less than a day? Man, no wonder peoples around called you playboy. Haha. Well, do you get her number? Is she as hot as Jessie?"

I looked at him in disbelief. "She is not sexy like Jessie if that what you mean. She is the cute type of girl. By the way, it is nothing like that. She offered me a handkerchief to wipe my face after that drama Jessie made. I didn't get a chance to get her name left alone her number, bro. I only left with her handkerchief. Haha." 

Ab laugh at me."You only have her handkerchief? Maybe she put some sort of charm on that handkerchief that make you keep thinking of her? Hahaha. Let me see the handkerchief. Hahaha."

As Ab looked at the handkerchief and at the initial, he face changed.

"What's wrong,Ab?"

"Nothing."he stuttered. "It is a nice handkerchief. I am just surprise to see the initial. It look like the initial of someone that I know that's all."

"Really? Who? Tell me Ab."

"I can't. Amber will kill me if she is the girl you looking for." He looked at me warily. 

" Why would her? Plus, I just want to say thank you and returned her the handkerchief. Of course, after i get it clean. Just let me know." I pushing him..

'Hmm. It not even guaranteed that the girl is the same girl you met earlier." He trying to dodge my request.

"Ab, just let me know, for god sake. Who the f**k is the girl?" I starting to get irritated by Ab attitude.

"Hmm. Fine. I will let you know if it is the girl that you met earlier on. If she is not, why you want to know right?" he said that with a grin on his face.

"How the f**k would I know whether we talking about the same girl, Ab?" I purposely said it in annoyed tone so that Ab understand it is ridiculous.

"Well, if we are talking about the same girl, you will see her in my party tomorrow night. If you see her, I will introduce you guys. If not, well you gotta find her yourself then." Ab said while smiling.

Tomorrow party?  The party at Ab house? I might see the girl? Hmmm. Now I am excited to go to that party.  It might be fun.

"Okay. We'll see about that. If that is the same girl, better hold your end of bargain man." I grinned.

"Defo bro." He grinned.

And we shake hand.
