The Darkest Secrets of a five
# Stary Writing Academy V
In the dimly lit chamber, a female voice trembled with fear. "How come she's not dead?" The air was thick with tension.
"She's not dead, Lordess," another voice whispered, shaking. "The White Lovers made her escape." Lordess's eyes blazed with anger.
"Why are you so careless, allowing a little baby to escape from you?" Lordess's voice was laced with fury and frustration. "This is disastrous."
A calm, measured voice intervened. "Be calm, Lordess. The bottle fell, but the milk was not spilled. She wants to live, then make her live." The speaker's eerie laugh sent shivers down the spines of those present.
"Mother, what do you mean?" Lordess asked, confusion etched on her face.
"All I need is a seed; she will grow with the seed in her. Just a seed," Mother muttered, her gaze sweeping the room as if searching for someone.
The door materialized, and a stunning woman, Santana, stepped into the room. The door vanished behind her, leaving everyone stunned. "I'm here, Mother; you were looking for me?" Santana signed with her finger, her movements fluid.
"Satana dear, yes, I was," Mother said, her voice softer now. "Can you look into the little one's future and check her lot?" Santana stood up, picked up a transparent globe-like object, and placed it on a nearby table.
As Santana pronounced ancient words, waving her hand over the globe, the room filled with an otherworldly energy. The globe shone with mighty light, and an invisible force threw Santana off balance. She screamed, her body crashing to the floor.
Everyone rushed towards her, except Mother. Lordess knelt down, cradling Santana's head in her lap. "Santana, Santana, what happened?" Santana's breathing was labored, but she whispered "the writer" before her eyes closed.
Panic gripped the room. "Santana, Santana, open your eyes! You can't sleep now. Open up!" Lordess begged, her voice cracking with anguish.
"Mother, Santana is gone. Her spirit is not responding," Lalitha said, tears of blood streaming down her face.
Mother's gaze lingered on Santana, a flicker of pain crossing her face before she blinked it away. "She is the seed I need," she said, her voice devoid of emotion.
The room fell silent. Lordess's anger boiled over. "No, she's not! Bring back my twin!" Mother waved her hand, and Santana's reel floated towards her. Lordess tried to grab it, but Mother's power was too great.
"What do you want her reels for?" Lordess demanded, her teeth grinding in frustration.
Mother chuckled, her eyes glinting. "Lordess, you are so stubborn. Don't worry, your twin won't leave you completely... only if she can't complete her task."
Lordess flung a liquid at Mother, but it hit Santana's reel, transforming it into an egg. Mother's laughter echoed through the room. "So stupid."
Lordess's face contorted in rage. "No, no, no!"
"If you rush towards me, the egg can fall and break. Once it breaks, your twin will be completely destroyed. Carry and store her fake in the treasure house. Once she completes her task, she will come back," Mother said, her fingers tracing the egg's surface.
A fleeting emotion danced in Mother's eyes. "Only if she completes her task... She's still living, but as a seed."
