we got home later that evening, my father went inside the house while I went to keep the farm tools and make dinner. I kept the farm tools at the store the went to the kitchen.

immediately I entered into the kitchen I was greeted with a slap from my mother "where do you think you are coming from by this time of the day you witch" she said twisting my ear "ahhhh" I screamed in pain as I felt my as if my ear was on fire "you better answer my question if not, the house will not be enough for both of us oo" she said as she keeps beating me. "I was with father at the farm" I answered as I cried in pain "which farm" she said as she picks up a cooking spoon "I'm asking a question and I need an immediate answer, which farm are you talking about" she hits me with the spoon "ahhh.....father's farm, I went to Dad's farm" I answered as the pain was becoming unbearable "and you are coming back by this time of the day" she inquired "what is your problem woman" my father said as he comes inside the kitchen and pick me up from the floor where I was a crying mess then asked me to go to my room then he faces my mother "do you want to kill her ?" my father asks my mother and mom didn't say anything "answer my question woman!!" dad booms and then she flinched "I..ehm...I ...I ju..just wanted to know where she was coming from and ...I got to....ehm...know that she was coming from one of her boyfriend's place" my mom concluded. dad laughed "seriously.... boyfriend" dad inquired "yeah" mom replied nervously

"now listen to me woman, muna was with me through out today in the farm...she told me of the horrible things you said to her..how could you!!" my dad fumed as fear griped mother "I'm so sorry...I...I don't know wh...wha..what came over mmmme...I was only trying to scold her" my mom shutters as she tries to cover up her deeds "over a plate!..that's what make you say such horrible things to her seriously woman..when muna came to meet me at the farm she was a crying mess and I was able to console her only for her to come back to the house and you welcomed her with beating" my dad said as his voice echoed the house "I'm ...I'm ...so..rr..yyy" mom shivered at a point I started to feel for her as dad scolded her

then dad turned to leave "muna I thought I asked you to go to your room" dad asks with a raised eyebrow "uhmm....I ..I have to make dinner" I said "don't worry about it mouna will do it, just go and take a rest" he said "okay Daddy" I said as I left for my room.
