After lunch, Daphne expected King Avner to go back to his office but he led her to their bedroom.
"Don't you have appointments?" she asked him.
"No. I asked Dino to clear out the book for today!" He pushed his body on her when the door was closed. "Oh, Daphne! I love you so much!" He kissed her hungrily.
"I love you, too, Avner!" she replied when she was able to speak. "Why? Are you nervous?" His hands were shaking.
"How I wish we are just an ordinary couple with ordinary problems..." he nuzzled her neck.
"But no, we are not," Daphne replied softly. "We are born to face these extraordinary problems!"
"You are a feisty woman!" King Avner supported her against the wall. "You always plan ahead of time!"
