Bennett stared down at the map drawn by a soldier they'd commandeered. After they found the militia camp a few soldiers happened by. They extracted information about the camp, layout, weapons, and soldiers.
Apparently, the camp had been struck with Ebola, and many soldiers were already dead or sick. That explained why they wanted Savannah. The sickness was spreading through the country, and very few places had a vaccine.
They'd learned a Dr. Jabari had also been reported missing along with the vaccine from Kinshasa. Bennett didn't believe it was a coincidence. It didn't explain why they wanted Savannah specifically. She knew how to administer the vaccine as well as any other nurse.
