“ I understand,” Ernest said. “What do you think, instead, of the painting we found?” he asked. “ Judging by how creepy it is, I’d say without a shadow of a doubt that my wife painted that,” Houg answered. In that instant Mary Ann entered the study, taking the bag Ernest had asked her. “ Your kids have just come back,” she said, turning to Houg.
