Rose shivered as the message came through. She’d been expecting it but it was still unpleasant to receive. Knowing each and every one of the Gifted on the Wanderer had received the same instructions helped a little, but not a lot.
With a sigh she pulled out the two kitchen knives she had secreted within her clothes. Two other Gifted were nearby and they also pulled out sharp knives. Then they leapt at the nearest people who were not Gifted, screeching hideously and stabbing their victims repeatedly.
