The events at Sanctuary were still too fresh for Ultimate Unity to properly follow. Its thoughts moved far too slowly to have absorbed them yet. It knew what was at stake, it even knew some of what had happened, but the final result… it had no idea of the battles between Sal, Ali and Jess. It had no idea what would happen. Not until it started to feel itself unravel. More and more of the sentient beings that it consisted of were vanishing, and it was diminishing with them.
