Chapter 37 Clay peeled away from a firing run just in time to avoid a barrage of fire from the closest frigate. The fighter he’d been chasing limped away but Clay didn’t care. It was out of the fight even if it wasn’t destroyed. As he weaved away from the frigate’s fire Clay took in the wider situation. He’d already been aware one frigate had been destroyed, that was something it was almost impossible to miss even when tightly focused on an enemy, and he’d suspected the Wanderer was the cause.
