Chapter 13
Those on the freighters debated for nearly ten minutes before finally agreeing to Jess’s plan. The Wanderer had already stripped everything useful from the remains of the Poison Arrow so he had it start on the station immediately. As the drones worked he sent the images from them over to the other ships, to show he wasn’t desecrating the resting place of any of the dead.
He finished rescuing all those the shuttles could reach soon after. That wasn’t enough for Jess, though. He’d figured out a way to save at least a few more people. Many of those who were trapped had died already but Jess wasn’t giving up on the others. He’d had the Wanderer create a number of lightweight survival suits.
