THEY FINALLY PULLED up in front of the cabin just as dusk set in. “Looks like we got home just in time,” Krista commented, taking the bags from the back. “I bet we’re in for some rain.” She looked up at the threatening black clouds, as did JT. “Have you ever seen rain?” she asked, walking up to the porch. “No.” He was directly behind her. “In space there is no rain, no wind.” “Well, you’re in for a treat.” She pulled off the note taped to the door. “It’s from Bobbie. She says she came over to check on me, but since we weren’t home, she’ll stop by another time.” She purposely avoided telling JT of the P.S. at the bottom: Have you finally admitted your true feelings about you-know-who?
