Carlo Macabalde is the exact person that each and every student would dislike. He is a very strict ex-priest, a cold yet calm professor in a law school and it makes all of his students distance him except Amina.

She is a hard-headed young woman with a fiery passion for justice and she even landed on her training at his office which makes her know him more than being a cold-blooded man.

Together, they resolve cases and bring justice to everyone who comes to them and when Amina started to receive death threats, Carlo suspects that it is someway related to the threats that his family has received before they were murdered 7 years ago.
