I am no longer allowed to live in my own home, Jake had told me to go back to the pack house. I had initially refused, telling him that I was perfectly fine and that I would be more careful next time. It wasn't meant to put him at ease, it was directed at his wolf. I could see how his eyes darkened, an instinct so primal to protect what is his telling him to ignore everything, even my own choice. I followed my own instinct to touch his arm and calm him down before slamming the door at his face, hearing him growl at me through the door. The next time, he came with an order directly from the Alpha, it stated that no wolf under eighteen could live on its own during times of war, leaving me no choice but to move back into the pack house.
