-Claire's P.O.V-
I look behind me to say goodbye to Ashley and notice she has already left, like the traitor she is. I get out of my chair and avoid Jake's piercing gaze.
"Lead the way," I tell him, gesturing for him to start walking. He does, making sure I am following behind him as if I was going to take off running. I considered it, but it was better to get this conversation with him over with. He had tried to approach me on several occasions and had respected my wish not to talk, I owed him this. He wanted to tell me something and I could at least listen to what he has to say.
It seems like we have reached our destination when we reach Jake's future office, or the Alpha's office. It isn't Jake's right now as he isn't Alpha yet but he will eventually get it, it will just take him a w
