I don't try to reach her for about a week. Always keeping my distance, but not letting her out of my sight for long, I still have this instinct to keep her safe. She hasn't been making it easy as I no longer live under the same roof as her, she moved out, much to my surprise, to the house deep into the woods. I asked my father about the house, he told me it belonged to Claire's parents and that they kept it to honor them and their sacrifice. I asked whether it was still livable, because if it wasn't I would drag Claire back to the pack house no matter what.
