He was being petty, he knew that but he didn't mind. He had been for a long time that it no longer bothers him, or people that knew him. Luckily for him, there weren't many people in the world that did. He could always do as Gabriel said, forget about the issue, but he wouldn't. She wasn't worth his time or his sweat, but there was something about her that lingered, it itched on him so much that it began to irk him.
Her resistance peaked him, yes. He brushed it off with the conclusion that he was disregarded by her because she had no idea who he was.
