" Hey, you wouldn't believe what just happened. "
Maya was unresponsive, busy with her computer purposely ignored Evelyn's rants.
" Maya? " Evelyn called, " Are you listening to me? "
Maya still ignored her, her fingers increased the pace at which they typed, her head imitating the rapid movements from her hands.
" Hey? you okay? " Evelyn had to ask.
Maya knew she couldn't ignore Evelyn, she threw a glance at her, exposing the tears that stood at the bridge of her eyes.
Evelyn was shocked, her eyes subconsciously glancing around to make sure their surrounding was safe from Maya's apparent breakdown.
