DAY TWO
Cain had watched his female all night. She never went to her bed after she slumped down the wall and then didn’t wake up. So, he watched over her. He frowned. Maybe she was sick? That worried him, his female couldn’t be sick. If you are sick, or weak, you died. He didn’t want her to die.
She was curled up on the floor and made an occasional whimpering sound. He desperately wanted to be with her. He got off his bed and walked over to the barrier. Then he sat down and drew his legs up, resting his forearms on top of his knees, he let his hands dangle between them.
