LOVE AND BETRAYAL

PROLOGUE:00. "Eyy vukani zinja"!! "Vukani nina kanti yini". I sighed,this is not what i sighed up for. 5 years later i am still in jail for something that i didn't do. The murder i never commited. I was framed amd my parents know it but they chose to protect their adopted daughter. I am sure my brothers know this as well. It all started when she came home with them when she was 18. That was the beginning of my problems. I thought she was sweet ,loving and caring kanti noo she's a pain in the ass. She blamed me for everything but she also apologized to me especially when our parents were closer. She once bumped her head on the wall and screamed for help. I just stood there and watched scream her little lungs out. My dad came running down the stairs and went to her first. You won't believe what that b***h said,she said "daddy it was a mistake she didn't mean it. She is angry that i took her shoes without her permission". I didn't even notice that she was wearing my shoes. Dad didn't ask any questions ,he gave me a slap that I'll never forget in my entire life and went upstairs with Amogelang. Just like that she saw that everything she said my parents would believe it. Everyday she had bruises and blamed them on me. My brothers changed on me and i was alone as if i was the one who was an orphan while the real orphan got pampered by my parents and brothers. Until one day i came at home and found her with a knife in her hands and a dead body next to her. I was scared, shaking and crying at the same time. She killed him and she sat next to the body ,not showing any signs of remorse. She didn't even look at me,i was glued on the ground,the thought of running away and calling for help didn't come to my mind as well. Soon she was sobbing and i was asking my self why she was suddenly sobbing. Kanti she saw my parents at the door and the first thing the did was to check on her. Dad:Amo are you okay? Amo:daddy he..he tried to force himself on me i was defending my self. Mom:What?You can't go to jail for this. Dad:We will fix this sweetheart. Mom came to me and wiped my tears Mom: Letlotlo you have to save your sister. Me:How ma? Mom:Take the blame. Me:What?I am a student mama what will happen to my studies? Mom:She is young...she has a whole future ahead of her Me:What about my future? Mom:We will start over when you come back. Me:Mama please don't make do this? Mom:I am sorry but your sister can't go to jail. Dad went upstairs with Amo and when they came back she was clean with her PJ's. He took the knife and went to dispose it. Mom took a clean knife thhat is identical to the one that dad disposed ,smeared the blood on it and placed the knife with my hand. Mind you she was wearing those plastic gloves while i held the knife with my bare hands. I tried to run but dad grabbed me and pushed ontop of the dead body while mom called the police on me...that's how i got arrested. I've been beaten up for nothing,they made me drink toilet water on some days...when they feel lile i don't deserve a meal then i don't get a meal. I have few broken ribs as well. I can never forgive my parents for what they've done to me in order to show love to their daughter. "Asambeni". We got out of our cells and went to the showers. One day I'll come out of prison and Amogelang will rue the day she chose to make me the black sheep of the family.
