When she kicks back!

One week before my 18th and I am down in the kitchen where Rick who is like my farther now is making my breakfast Sitting down on the counter stool on my phone not taking any notice of Rick until he places a plate of eggs and bacon in front of me. Looking up to Rick stood there grinning like an i***t, I raise an eyebrow a little confused as to why he is acting so weird, well more weird than usual. I decide not to ask and turned my attention to my plate and sit there taking my time savouring the taste until Rick decides to speak causing me to frown at him. "Your 18th birthday is in a week, is there anything you want to do?" I shake my head not wanting to have this conversation, because this is like the 100th time he has asked me this month. "Oh come on, you will be 18, your only hit that age once you know" He says with a little chuckles and a massive grin slapped on his face. I finish of my food and get up from the stool and begin to walk to the front door just to get out of the way and the fact that I have school in 20 mins and it takes at least 15 minuets to get there, yes I might have a car but still I don't like being late even by a second. "fine be like that but I will ask you again when you get home" he says shouting just to make sure I heard him. "OK" was my only response because quite frankly I don't want to have him chasing me down because I ignored him. Once stepping outside I am hit with the smell of freshness and a little salt, I know there is a storm brewing just a little off west near the coast and I am excited because storms make me feel like I am not alone in this world. I live in New York in a little suburban area, its a lot quieter here than in the main city and to be honest I like it here. no noise, no neighbours shouting at each other and little to no crime happening, its peaceful. My baby is sat in the drive way enticing me to come and roar her to life and burn her tires, yes I call my car my baby, its the only thing I take pride in, its a 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 and a nice racer red with a black striped running over the hood and roof in the centre. if anyone told me to pick a car it would always be my Chevy and nothing else. It was a gift from Rick when I turned 16 and for having top grades in my class. Looking down at my watch and noticing I now only have 17 minuets to get to school I rush towards my car, jumping in and making her come to life revving her engine. Backing out of the drive I take off in the direction of my school. Luckily for me, me school is out of the main city so not a lot of traffic comes by so I get there with my foot down on the accelerator and arrive with 5 minuets to spare. Reversing in to a parking spot nearest to the front door of my school, putting her in park, I get out pressing my key fob to lock her up. My school is like any other regular school, looks a little worn but has a vibe about it telling you that you will get the best education there is to offer.. Putting my keys in my back pocket I take off towards my locker to collect my things ready for class. Upon arriving at my locker I spot a couple that where leaning on my locker door practically sucking each others face off, I stride up to the side of them and do a little cough to get their attention. The male breaks away from the girl and looks at me with a pissed off look. "My locker" i say point to my locker door, i don't even show emotions on my face because to be quite frank its pointless. He steps away from the girl and comes right up to my face and by the looks of it he is trying to intimidate me which i find laughable.  Who does he thinks he is?, but all i do it just stand there with a blank face staring straight into his eyes..   He leaned so he is eye level and huffs. "I don't care if it is your locker, i do what i want where ever i want, understand!" all in one breath. I side step him and go straight to my locker and open it pushing the girl to the side with the door, i collect my things and go towards my class which is English. just before i get to the door of my class a hand lands on my shoulder making me spin around to face who ever it is. "DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME!" he shouts in my face and to be honest he is starting to tick me off a little. I don's respond and go to turn again when he grips my arm. "Let go" i say as calm as possible so it doesn't have to escalate. "NO, who do you think you are telling me what to do!" he says but still stern enough for many other students to hear. "Final warning, let me go" i am really trying to be nice and give him a warning which looks like he is ignoring. "No Yo-" Before he could finish his sentence i grab his hand from my arm and twist it behind his back and slam him against the wall. I hear gasps from people who are now crowding around us but i take no notice and lean in to his ear. "I said let me go and you chose to ignore me, well the joke is on you love, do not and i repeat DO NOT touch me again, understand!" i say with coldness in my voice. He rapidly shakes his head agreeing and i let go and go to walk to my class room. I step inside to people with shocked faces and some with mouth dropped, i ignore them and go to sit on my seat at the back when my English teacher walks in to start the class.
