Elise's Secret

A loud noise from upstairs awoken Isabella. Slowly she went up to check it. She was about to open the only room upstairs when a cold hand stopped her from doing so. "What are you doing here?" Elise asked. "There was a loud noise I heard from here, so I went here to check it." Isabella stated. Elise's hands are shaking rapidly, she hid her hands behind her back so Isabella wouldn't notice. Slowly, a smile plastered on her face and looked directly in Isabella's eyes. "It's nothing." Elise said. "Are you sure?" Elise just nodded as a reply. Isabella let out a heavy sigh and turned her back against Elise. "Well then, I must return to my room. Sleep already Elise, it's getting late." And with that Isabella returned to her room. Elise's smile fell immediately. Her gaze went to her room door. She went inside and made sure the doors locked. She let out a soft chuckle. "What a dumb human." she mumbled. She went to her study table. She smiled upon seeing her notebook, it's not just a simple notebook, it is most likely a diary. She let out a pen and started writing. Unknowingly, Elise didn't know that someone entered her room a while ago. After writing, she went to her bathroom to wash her hand. A human figure immediately went out the closet. It walked closer to Elise's diary. He tried reading Elise's diary hoping it would read something interesting, like Elise's love life or so ever. Upon reading the first paragraph, he froze upon reading it. Who would have thought that instead of reading something about love life it would be another way around. Still in shock upon reading the diary he was unable to move or even flinch. He heard the bathroom door opening but he couldn't do anything to hide. He wants to hide but his body wouldn't move a bit. "Am I good at writing, cous?" Elise asked with her soft voice. A sigh of relief was heard from the man holding her diary. "I-is it a story you made, Elise?" the man asked with a shaky voice. Fear is visible in his voice as he spoke. "Yes, was it nice?" Elise asked again. Finally, he's body is able to move. He faced Elise and smiled upon seeing his cousin. "It was nice, I thought it was true since you're using real names. May I ask?" The man asked politely. "You're already asking, Jack" Elise answered. "How did you know about Carson's case?" Jack asked. "It's all over the news, Jack. He's death was a blast to the media since he was killed brutally." Elise stated. "But, in your diary, it was very well written, every single detail. How was it a coincidence?" Jack. "Are you trying to say I killed Carson?" Elise's eyes turned bloodshot and anger is visible as she spoke. "No, I'm just wondering. Isabella should know how good you are at writing stories. I'm going to show her this." Jack was about to open the door but suddenly a hard thing hit his head. He touched it and saw there is blood gushing from his head, and to his horror, he fainted. "No one should know about my secret. And to those whoever knows my secret, must depart from the world."
