Sparks of True love

Tomorrow is my best friends wedding day and her mating ceremony. I can't wait and I'm so excited for her. Just a few weeks ago we went dress shopping and got her the perfect wedding dress. A white ball gown with gold colored beading all down the front and on the train. She decided to accent with an emerald green sash around her waist. So she decided to have me wear an emerald green bridesmaid dress. As I walk into her pack house, she greets me with a squeal. "Lilly I'm so excited for you" I say as she shows me to my room. "So what do you want to do for your last night as a free wolf" I say teasing her. She seems to really think about it. Since we are only nineteen it's hard to really go do anything. Most bars won't let us in so we can't drink. "What about a midnight run" she asks and I smile. Tomorrow was a full moon and perfect for their ceremony but tonight was almost full. "sounds great" I say smiling at her. Lilly and I had been friends pretty much since birth. My current pack was our home pack. Lilly's father was the current alpha of the pack. He was doing business with Alpha Thomas when Lilly realized he was her mate. He is only a year older then us. Soon we had a rehearsal. Bjorn the best man and cousin to Thomas wasn't able to make it. So Thomas beta, Andrew, stepped in for the rehearsal. Bjorn was supposed to make it tomorrow. Lilly told me that he was an alpha as well and couldn't just leave pack matters. The music starts and I walk down with Andrew and then it switches and Lilly walks down with her dad. They go over how things will happen and then how as we start the mating ceremony I'm suppose to take a seat. Then they will mark each other then go to the mating room to join and strengthen their bond. After that they will come party or stay away while we all party for them. We all chuckle at the elder has he makes that comment. Then we are dismissed for the night. Lilly and Thomas kiss before going their separate ways for the night. We wait until about 11pm before we decided to shift to start our bachelorette party. Since this pack area was unknown to me I had Lilly lead. We ran for what seemed like forever before arriving at a lake. Lilly shifted and stood in front of the water before jumping in. I shifted too and jumped in after her. "No one is going to see us right" I say splashing her. " Since when are you so modest" Lilly teased causing me to chuckle. "I'm not but still I don't enjoy dudes staring at the girls" I say pushing my breasts up a little causing Lilly to laugh even more. "At least you have big ones. Most of the time guys only stare at my ass" she said causing me to laugh harder. Our chuckles echoed around some as she splashed and talked. We decided to dry off and climbed out of the water. "Lilly about tomorrow. What if Thomas doesn't allow me to come back. What if he doesn't like me? I mean he is known for being ruthless and untrusting of people" I say looking down at my hands. " Astrid you are my best friend and my nonbiological sister. He has already accepted you. " Lilly said and I gave her a small smile. I felt like she was just saying that to ease my nerves about him. I had only met him once and he honestly scared me. During the rehearsal he barely said anything to me other then make sure you don't walk so fast. We shift again and make it back to the pack house around 2am. We go to our rooms to get some sleep. At 11am I'm awoke by omegas coming in to start my hair and makeup. They start by curling my long red hair. They then put it half up with bobby pins and enough hair spray to make me flammable. Just as they finish with my hair Lilly walks in. She has her brunette hair in a French twist updo. On the top was white and emerald roses. They started our make up. "I can't wait to see you in your dress again" I say to Lilly as they do my eyeshadow. "I can't wait for Thomas to take it off" Lilly said with a big laugh causing me to blush. I didn't want to think of that part. Soon her mom walked in and started to cry a little. "oh my goodness.. you two are so beautiful" she said giving us both a hug. "I brought your dresses " Lilly's mom said holding up the dress bags. Her mom handed me mine and passed Lilly's bag to the omegas. The had her go behind a changing wall before she came out. The back of her dress was a corset lace up. They tightened up her dress before the flowers were brought in. Lilly held a bouquet of white roses with a giant emerald color leaf. Mine was a single white rose with a green leaf. Her mom put a white gold necklace with blue sapphires on Lilly before giving her a kiss on the cheek. Her dad knocked on the door and all the omegas bowed as he was granted entry by his wife. I had never seen my alpha cry but he shed a couple tears of joy seeing Lilly. Before I knew it we were at the entrance of the pack house. Her ceremony was going to be held in the court yard outside. The sub was shining bright and it was warm. The music started and Beta Andrew grabbed my arm. "What happened to the Bjorn guy" I whisper and Andrew shrugged. "Thomas said he couldn't make it because of something with his pack. I'm best man" he said with a small chuckle before we started walking. Everyone in the pack watched as Andrew and I walked down the isle. The head elder who was running the wedding walked forward some. "Please rise for your Luna" he said as the music changed for Lilly to walk down the isle. I looked over and saw Thomas fighting tears. It made me smile. Lilly reached the end and her dad handed her off to Thomas. The elder talked for a while about different things. Then they said some written vows. "Would the maid of honor and best man please have a seat." The elder said and I sat down in the front row next to Lilly's mom. "as I have wed these two now we hold the mating ceremony. This is a ceremony to further strengthen the mate bond between Lilly and Thomas. Not only as mates but as Alpha and Luna. As pack tradition I will read the roles then as I finish I will instruct you mark your mate." The elder said before pulling out the pack law book. " Alpha Thomas Crane, as Alpha you hold the responsibility of protecting not only the pack but your mate. You are to lead with wisdom, pride, strength and determination. Alpha would you please bite your fated mate in the crook of her neck" the elder said as Thomas bites Lilly's neck leaving his mark. " Lilly as you take on the role of Luna we ask that you help your alpha lead. That you are kind, caring, loyal and strong. Luna please return the action and mark your Alpha. " The elder said as Lilly bite Thomas neck leaving a mark. " I give you Alpha and Luna of Summer Creek pack. Your may kiss your mate" The elder said as Thomas and Lilly kisses passionately. Thomas picked up Lilly and carried her out of the room. " If everyone would please enjoy the refreshments and dinner will start soon" the elder said as the music started. I sat at the table with Lilly's parents and her brother and his mate. Lilly's brother was a year older then us and was due to take over once he hit 25. The party went on for hours before Thomas showed up. He thanked everyone for coming and then left again. Not long after that everyone started to leave. I was staying one more night so I retired to my room. The next morning I join Lilly and Thomas for breakfast. " Thank you for everything Astrid. Sorry my best man couldn't make it. Are you staying another day or are you heading home?" Thomas asked me and I smiled. " I have to head home. I have classes tomorrow. I'm hoping to become a nurse someday unless I find myself an alpha too then I will be a luna" I say and Thomas smiles. " I hope you achieve both my friend" he said causing me to smile. I just hoped I would find my mate soon. I didn't want to be too far behind Lilly.
