Lorenzo’s words played back through Jaxson’s mind. ‘Men like Niko don’t talk.’  Jaxson looked at the portly man standing in front of him and thought, ‘Damn. I’m screwed.’ He had thought he could talk to the man after Lorenzo told him about the possible contract on his life. Now he saw the error of his reasoning. And it was too late to backtrack. They were in the middle of an old, abandoned car junk yard located just on the outskirts of town.
